some things in life are rather painful...

Like being pregnant with an impacted tooth and the dentist won't even look at you! My head is killing me, not just my jaw, or my gums, or my teeth.... oh noooo it's the entire package, headaches neck-aches and ear-aches lol. They referred me to my family Dr. who I went to see yesterday. She's not a dentist.... she's a Dr LOL. She poked and prodded my mouth until I nearly jumped off of the exam table, when she laughed and said "I think we found it!" I couldn't help but laugh too, even though it hurt like an SOB. I have been given an antibiotic for any infection there may be, which I was afraid to take because I'm pregnant... I take it for 7 days and it should take care of any problems, and not harm the baby. I am taking tylenol for the pain, and trying to use anbesol to freeze my mouth when it's intense. I just wish I could sleep through an entire night. She booked a follow up apointment next week as she wanted to talk to a dental surgeon friend of hers... so we'll see.
On a happier note, I'm a few short days away from offically being in my second trimester!!! We did some work on the babies room on the weekend. We put up some wood boarder which we painted white to finish off the walls with stripes half way up. I'll post pictures. We also got the crib put together, we just need to purchase a new mattress for it which I've been pricing out online.
I finally get to have an appoitment with our midwife clinic. There's a story in itself! I called like 2 months ago to get put on the list, they said they would call back when they got to my due date. I hadn't heard from them, hadn't heard from them, so I called last week the same day we had our U/S. Well the lady wasn't very nice and said they don't call and let people know if they've been accepeted or not, and that they do repeat clients, then low income clients (Meninites, ect) then they add new patients; and this year they have over 300 births.... Well that's no good cause here I'm 3 months along with no prenatal care. So a friend of my had a midwife thru the same clinic for my God-Daughters birth so she made a call to her midwife, and magically enough I got a call from them, and they magically had an opening... taa-daaaaa! LOL. So I'm looking forward to friday morning and meeting them and asking a bunch of questions! I'll let ya's know how that goes.

The Wee One, second U/S!

Well I have an updated pic of The Wee One! S/He was ' Kung Fu Fighting' while we had the U/S hehe. I got to see the little hands, that was awesome! I heard the HB, 154! 3 inches now! IPS U/S was clear so far from what I understand. We just wait for bw now. Then the second BW screening is May 18th. Next U/S June 7th, long ways off from now hehe, feels like it anyways hehe.

Well, 2 days til we see the Wee one!

I haven't been on much, been busy with the nice weather.
We get to see the Wee One thursday. They start the screening for downs, ect.
David's bday was a hoot. I had a headache for three days straight... he drank and I got the hang over lol.
The weather is beautiful here and the leaves are coming on the trees. The flowers in the front garden are coming out rather nicely, yellow dafodills, red and yellow tulips, and some purple flowers, and I don't know what kind they were. The neighbours are jealous. lol yahoo for me HAHAHA.
Well, american Idol is on, and they're doing MUSICALS YAAAAAAAAAAAAA! So Off I go for now, I'll be back later tonight to catch up on your blogs.

Not feeling so hot today lol. Very sleepy the last 2 weeks... although I did have a really good appetite today.
David's bday is coming together nicely, Sam's got the cake nearly finished, and I just have decorations to get sometime over the next couple of days. I'm also going out and buying a new outfit for myself as I get a nice size commission cheque back this week. So I'm going to buy something pretty for his party.
Other than that, we're just on the countdown for the next U/S a week from tomorrow.

11 weeks and a day!

Hi ladies. What's been happening?
I took Katy to the Avril Lavigne concert, it was a blast... I was actually impressed with her show, she sings just as good live as she does on cd. Katy had fun too.
David's bday is the week. We've planned a shin-dig at our karaoke bar... my friend is making his cake and we'll be doing some other stuff too. I have to talk in code incase for some reason he reads my blog lol.
We got the backyard all tidy, nomore recycling it's been taken out, we raked a little but have to wait until the ground dries up somemore because there are bigs puddles out there and lots of mud. We're hoping it dries up soon as we can't wait to get the rest raked up.
I actually started writing in my baby book again, still have to catch up on a bit of the story but we';re getting there slowly. We also put blinds up in the babies room this weekend, it's looking good. Time to organize all the stuff, but I still don't want to go in and touch anything until my second trimester. WE'RE ALMOST THERE! 3 weeks to go I believe! Just over a week until our next U/S. I'm feeling 'fat' these days lol. I can see my tummy taking shape a little which is very exciting, but I can't wait to show so everyone else can see! That'll be a while though, guess it's my special secret still, well out special secret! :).

Spring has sprung! I seen my first robin today! :)

Yes I was so pleased to see my first robin today. I made a wish and everything, YAY! It means spring is really coming, wahoo!
OMG I feel sick tonight LOL. My tummy is swirling lol. Why do I laugh? Cause, this is the closest I've been to morning sickness, this happens maybe once or twice a week, more freaquently lately than not.
I had all these big plans to scrub the floors and make it smell nice in here, I got as far as steam cleaning the carpet in the bedroom, getting my laundry put away and then I fizzled lol. Well my energy did anyways hehe. Aww well the weekend is coming up, the list of things to do has gotten bigger, but that's just fine with me! :)
I want to flat iron my hair for work, I'm coloring it monday so it'll be the last straightening with redish hair before I go back to my natural color (or as close as they can get anyways hehe). I did check around and it's okay to go for a hair apointment I guess, so I'm getting it doen cause it looks like crap! hehe.
That's all that's new right now, off I go to learn two/three new songs for karaoke (Natural Woman, Joy and Pain, and Wishing Well).

I have been wanting to start writing my pregnancy experiences in our TTC Journal for the baby, but I just haven't picked the book up yet. I think I'm still afraid it's not real or something. I don't really know what's keeping me from writing in it, one of these days I'll pick it up and get to it. I should do it soon before I forget all the little things I'm feeling or wanting to say to the Wee One.

I am feeling a little ill tonight, wonderful nausea! I'm not complaining though, never complaining! Just stating a fact!! :) Heaches gone though, YAY!

I don't know what else to write. Weird how all the words have been lost lately lol. I can't wait til the 24th to see the Wee One again.

Oh, Avril Lavigne; a week from tomorrow I get to take my neice to the concert for her bday. I'm taking her out to buy a new outfit first. It'll be a nice time!
