7am this morning!
My water 'broke', I am now 1cm dilated and almost fully effaced. MW came this morning and checked me and also did a sweep. I am having contractions, so it'll hopefully be tonight or early tomorrow morning if it continues. MW is very pleased with how far/fast I've come since monday. I'm scared and excited at the same time.

Midwife checkup!
Had my last midwife checkup prior to my due date of sunday! She did an exam, baby is ready to come, fully engaged, just waiting for somemore action to get my cervix thinning and such then we'll be holding our baby! She said not the next two days, but shortly after then. She suggested raspberry tea and another herbal pellet that melts under your tongue "actaea racemosa compose" , or otherwise known as "Easy Birth". So that coupled with sex, bouncy ball and a lot of praying hopefully we'll see the baby in the next week!
I'm excited now, very nervous, but will be happy to finally hold my Wee One. Things are getting more and more uncomfy and the baby is getting bigger, but that's normal.
I can't complain about anything throughout this pregnancy at all really, accept the the GD diet lol. But even that's going well. I'm interested to see how much weight I've actually dropped while being pregnant, cause I still don't weigh as much as I did just before I got pregnant. We'll see!

wow!!
I think I've had my first couple of contractions tonight 2-3 hours apart! It may still be another week before s/he gets here, but there's still hope lol! It hurts, but I'm to excited to care! hehe

stiiiiill waiting for something to happen
Its not good when you get bored of waiting... it's funny how the 2ww at the end of pregnancy is so similar to the 2ww when ttc! Only this time I want cramps and such LOL.
I'm losing patience here! Gawd I don't know what to do with myself half the time! Any suggestions? I'm done the nursery... still working on cleaning the house but that's an ongoing battle... I really want something to start happening here!

my checkup today
Went to MW and had a checkup. She's such a nice lady, and straight to the point... not afraid to teach when questions are asked. I like her!
I start getting checked next week if I've dilated or anything. She suggested an exercise ball, lots of sex and some sitting positions to get things moving faster. Baby is still head down, and engaging, but not very far... so I'll be taking her advice, all of it hehe. Hubby'll be a happy man haha.
Last week I measured 38 weeks, this week I measured 37, so sometings happening! YAY! Let's get this show on the road!!

wow
So it's starting to really click in that anytime now this baby that's inside, will be outside, uh boy! I am ready, but sometimes when I really really think about it... I get really freaked out, and other times I'm pumped and can't wait. Mostly I can't wait, but man oh man!
Oh I tested for strep B and it was negative so that's a good thing. Midwife said that 511 is when I goto the hospital, contraction that are 5 minutes apart, last a minute long and has been occuring for an hour. Hope I can remember that when its happening lol.
That's all I can really say right now lol. I'm at a loss for words, sorry about that!

Just a quick update
Hi Ladies. I had some light cramping off and on for the last couple days, nothing significant though. I have had a lot of preasure today on my pelvic bone ect. I go tomorrow to the midwifes for a check up. Baby is moving a lot right now as I type this, but it has been quiet the last couple days.
I have kept true to my word and the cleaning machine has started, floors are clean now, baby clothes are cleaned and put away, baby bag is packed. I still need to staralize the baby bottles ect, but I am waiting until a little closer for that. Scrubbing the bathrooms is next in line.
David and I got news yesterday that we get to take over his fathers current home in March when their new place is built. We're excited but overwhelmed with all the things to think about. Its such a great opportunity for us, our 'rent' will be going directly towards the mortgage for when we are good to get the loan to take over the mortgage. It'll be nice to have our own home. 3 bedroom, central air/heat, 2 bath, garage. The roof was just replaced along with the windows, all new flooring... its like a new home. I can't beleive that everything is happening all at once lol. Baby, house ect. Its all good stuff though! Took a long time to get there. Our families have been good to us, specially his with the van and the house. Wow, we're some lucky people.
That's all on that for now, so I'm gunna log off for the night.

3 wks 3 days to go...
MAT leave has been busy so far. Family emergencies and helping to get the inlaws house ready incase they need to sell it. I have successfully washed all the baby clothes and stuff, folded it, but haven't put it away yet. I still need to get my bag together for the hospital as well... I think I may go up and do that tonight.
The baby was engaging according to the midwife at my apointment last week.. it isn't happening fast enough for my liking personally hehe. I want to meet my baby finally, these last few weeks are going to be torcher! I am tired of guessing what labour & delivery will be like, I'm sick of thinking about it! I just want it to happen so I can move on with the fun stuff... raising our baby! :)
I want to lose my plug or my water, or I want lightening to really hit (although I know its happening slowly as I'm peeing like every 1/2 hour, and sometimes the pressure is crazy.). I thought I had some mild cramping a few times, different than BH (although I've had that too). I wonder if the midwife will start checking if I've dialted at all or if ZI'm thinning out now at my apointments sinse I'll be going weekly.
I go out friday with a girlfriend and she's gunna take some nice pictures outside of me and my mummy tummy.
Plans for next week... clean clean clean! Get this house in tip top condition for when the Wee One arrives. I also have some apointments and am volunteering the morning on the 14th at the polls for the canadian vote day! So i am trying to keep myself busy so time goes by quicker.
Man I can't wait to look into the eyes of my baby... finally after so long, we're almost there!
