wow! Maera and the SOFT clinic.

Hi ladies!
Maera is doing well, she's learning that she has hands and fingers, it's so cool watching her look at her hands with such amazement. She goes cross eyed when she moves them closer to her face, it's a hoot! She's starting to play with her toys on her bouncy chair and plays with rattles and stuff now. It's so exciting!
Todat David and I went to the SOFT clinic, which is where we went to meet Dr. Martin who helped us (got us), pregnant with Maera. We got to introduce her to the doctor and the technitions and nurses at the clinic. I cried out of pure joy. The waiting room was full of couples waiting to see Dr. Martin. I felt a little weird going in there with a baby as I know what its like to even see a baby in an office for fertility patients; but overall it was awesome. I walked in and it was like I hit a wall of emotions, remembering what it was like going through all the blood work and monitoring and waiting. Then the tech & nurse came out and they held Maera, I cried and hugged them. When David was taking her out of her snow suit in the middle of the room he simply said to the people watching him, this is what happens after 6 long years of trying. It does happen, miracles do happen. It was so nice to bring a little hope to people. Dr Martin came out (my hero), we introduced him to Maera and we hugged him. I asked what we do when we want to have another, he simply said "I'll give you as many as you want, you can keep coming back!!" He smiled and we thanked him again. I turned around and made my apointment for June 1st.. I'M SO EXCITED!! So we get to start trying again in June! YAAAAY! :):):):) Can ya tell I'm all excited?!
I feel like screaming to the world about the SOFT clinic and how nice they are and how good they are at what they do. A couple in the waiting room congradulated us, and we wished them the best of luck. I said Dr. Martin will make it happen for you, keep your chin up, its worth the wait, He's my hero... Best of luck... I wish I could have told everyone that IT CAN HAPPEN!! You can get pregnant, and have a beautiful baby after all the trials of TTC. No matter how down you get IT DOES HAPPEN!
I am so blessed...

Happy New Year and all that jazz! I trust everyone's holidays were great! I
'I'm sure I don't have long as the baby has already started crying hehe, I think she has censors for when I open up the computer!
We're all doing well. David got his lay off notice for work, so we're both on employment benefits right now... which really sux! He's looking for another job though. Baby is just going through her first cold, yesterday was bad, today she seems to be doing much better. The xray was disturbing. They sat her on a bike seat in a hole on a wooden table, asked me to hold her legs straight while they pulled her arms straight up and clamped a plastic bottle around her so she couldn't move. It was like they stuffed her in a 2LT pop bottle, it was so disturbing, poor thing. She's doing much better today though.
We're still working on the new place and should be moving in sometime in april/may.
