Migraines suck!

I've had the same frigin painful headache for 2.5 days. I called sick to work as I wanted it to go away, and its still here... grrrr.
Not to much is happening other than that. The weather is nicer now, just waiting for it to warm up enough to melt the ice in the backyard so I can get out there and clean.

8w5d - and we're good!

No cramping today! I've had lots of gas and digestion issues, so I think that's probably because of all the stretching yesterday. But thanx for the good vibes! They worked!!
We got a crib today! Someone David works with told him last night (he finally went back after 3 weeks off), that he'd be by to drop that off today and he came. We also got a change table, bassinet (really pretty), and crib. We also got a Winnie the pooh bedding and some other musical attachments for the crib. It was very nice, and all for free, so it's the right price!! I'll take pictures and post them later so you can see the bassinet cause I think it's so beautiful.
I have still stuck with my part, no purchasing baby things until half way through 2nd trimester into the third...
Well I gotta go for now but I'll be back to post pic's of the bassinet, maybe not today but for sure tomorrow.

Hi ladies.
I've had cramping today, like burning in my abdomin. No spotting or anything. I've had 2 rather sharper cramps but that's it. I'm a little freaked out, but I've read it's normal around this time as the uterus is stretching. I'll keep my eyes out, but I'm sure everythings good. I've had some nausea as well, sore breasts still, constipated ect.
I don't really have much else to write about for now. Take care all. I'll go through and update myself on your blogs tomorrow.

The Wee One! Nov 2nd due date confirmed!

Here is a picture of our little miracle. Meassuring 18mm (8 weeks 2 days, which is pretty much bang on due to the leap year), heartbeat of between 167 and 171, we got to see the baby for the first time today! The Dr. said everything is perfect and that after a great U/S like today I have a 94% chance of a healthy delivery at the end of 9 months. He's very pleased with everything!
We go back April 24th for screening for Chromosomal Defects.

Tomorrow's U/S...

I'm so nervous about tomorrows U/S. We have a video camera to hopefully tape it if they allow it. Please let everything be good... OMG. We've been waiting for tomorrow with baited breath, fingers crossed and wishing time would hurry up. Now it's here and we're scared LOL. I know it sounds so stupid but I can't help it. What if there's something wrong and its all been a mean joke? What if everything is fine? It'll be the first time that we see the baby, that's scary too (at the same time as exciting). It puts everything into such a different perspective! I can't wait, but I'm so scared lol. I will be very relieved. I sound so silly right now, but its how I'm feeling.
I am going to try and get some sleep as I'll be up and out the door before I know it!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter/bunny day/spring to all!
I am on week 8, YAY! I am very constipated, I know TMI. I googled it, drink more and eat the fruit I got when we went grocery shopping lol. I also got some yummy wheat for breakfast! So hopefully things will change for that. Also walk more and drink juice... so I'll get er done!
Had a nice visit with dad today, took him out for a roll up the rim at Tim Hortons. Yesterday I visited mum and she had purchased a small photo album with a teddy bear on the front (which is the theme for the nursery), and she also got 2 soothers lol. It was odd holding the soothers in my hand lol. Little things that 'bring it home' that we're actually pregnant. Sheesh, wait til Tuesday right? hehe. I can't wait to be reassurred that all is well in there.

The countdowns are on!

1 more day of work until a glorious 5 day weekend! YAY FOR SLEEPING IN!

5.5 more days until we see The Wee One for the first time and hear the heartbeat. I am so nervous and hope everything is good. I think I'll be more excited about things after the apointment if it turns out good. I look forward to tat in itself.

Tomorrow we find out if David goes back to work, I hope he does as WE NEED MONEY. I need to start getting things done, like cars fixed (before they totally breakdown), chest freezer purchased(we're getting a used on from someone I work with $25!), new mattress, washer and dryer(cause I don't want to lug all our clothes, plus the babys clothes and the baby to the laundry matt every week. I also need time to get some money saved up for emergencies. Not to mention the other zillion things that need to be purchased and taken care of so we're stittng good for when our little sweetheart is here.

These are the things that are slowly making me crazy!

I dunno what else to type about right this minute so I guess I'm gunna go for now.

7 wks!

Well, we're at 7 wks. I have had much fatigue, some headaches yesterday and today and lots of mood swings, oh and sore heavier breasts. I am now addicted to peach juice! David is happy cause the kind I like is $2 for a 2lt bottle hehe.
I can't wait until some of this fatigue passes, as I am having a hard time getting anything done because all I want to do is sleep or sit and veg lol. I'm not complaining about any of the 'symptoms' as it's all part of the experience! :)
I did get my workout dvd friday so I'll check that out tomorrow. I also can't wait for the weather to warm up as I want to walk more, but because of the ice, snow and cold it makes it difficult.
A friend of our is giving us her infant car seat, bouncy seat and bath for our baby. It was nice of her. We're also getting a crib from my SIL. the Wee Ones aunty and uncle bought our first stuffy for the baby room, it's a really soft long eared bunny... and the color matches the room, it was so nice of them. We're going to do a teddy bear theme.
Our first U/S is next tuesday! YAY! I can't wait to hear the baby and see the baby, it will make everything seem more real. I am actually excited that its been lmost 2 months now, it sounds so good saying it that way!
Well off I go for now, David is going to rub my sholders to help with my headache.

Not to much is happening really. I stayed home from work today as I haven't been feeling well, it's not morning sickness I am actually fighting a bug I think. I slept for 4 hours today after sleeping all nigt. I hope I can sleep tonight! I'm starting to get tired again ( believe it or not), so hopefully I won't have any problems.
Oh I got a book of piano music, I started tapping away a bit today at a couple of the songs, but I've noticed that I will have to wait until David's out as he wants to talk as soon as I go over to the piano LOL.
My brother and is fiance and my niece are coming up this weekend, we're taking both neices and the nephew to a sugar bush, we get to do the horse drawn hay ride and breakfast thing. I'm looking forward to that saturday.
My workout dvd has yet to make it to my house. I filed a 'complaint' just now, hopefully I'll get that cleared up.

So Dave's injured foot is creating a little to much added stress lol. We need the money that we're waiting for from WSIB to help pay our bills for the month as I don't make enough to cover them all. Not to mention I refused to take the garbage out yesterday after working all day and lugging/washing/drying the laundry at the laundry mat. I was way too tired, so now we have extra garbage until next week. Lovely! The air cast is kinda stinky too LOL.
Gypsy is back from her surgery, it's good to have her home! We missed her a lot last night. She's a little dopey, but when she is awake she wants to jump around but we have to stop her because her stitches might rip. Poor thing. I took her outside to pee and she tried sniffing the ground but can't quite do it right because of the 'Elizabethan' collar she has on. Every time she went to sniff she'd kick up snow, awww. It was cute, sad, and funny all at once, poor thing. hehe. She's gotta wear it for 10 days, I feel bad for her. She got frustrated a couple times cause she couldn't clean herself. She did a couple of those "HMPH!" sounds, whined a bit then sat down; got up and circled herself and did it again. Awwwwww.
Work this week was oober stressful with changes that the management said. As well the teenagers are getting on my nurves really bad, their little diva-ness GRRRRR. Plus the areas that we're calling are hard becuase of newspaper articles against what we're doing, so less sales, but we're still expected to make the same amount of sales or more. I seriously think some of them are saying things they shouldn't which is why they seem to get more sales. But thast just goes to show ya, I don't lie or fluff the sales... I make sure their honest sales... I seriously think I'm to honest for this job. I just need to hold off for 7 more months, then I go on MAT leave and hopefully do some home schooling to get a better job while we raise the wee-one.
I went to the doctors today, the fill-in doctor was very nice. I asked bunches of questions about how I was feeling and she said everything sounded normal. I also found out that we don't need a referral for the midwife clinic. So we got the number from them and I called right away to give them my info. They are just getting to October due dates, so perfect timing on our part! The midwives will go through and we'll find out who is available to take us on as patients. YAY! I'm a little excited about that. OHIP covers it as well so that's excellent!
I forgot to ask the doctor about the gym, but I am gunna go and take advantage of the treadmill and do some light weights. I have a good understanding of what not to do now.

So David hurt himself at work and is now wearing an 'Air Cast', which looks like the storm troopers boots from Star Wars. He's off for 2 wks, and has filed for WSIB (workmans compensation)... hopefully the money comes right away.
I've had an up and down day, very tired now. I'm watching American Idol right now. Gunna grab a quick shower, then relax. That's all I really have to chit chat about tonight.

So today at work I was very tired. I haven't been sleeping through the night the last couple nights. Well today at work I started falling asleep on the phone... again. But this time my eyes closed while I was writing notes on some leads, and the first lead when I opened my eyes again I had written "the bodies will be dispersed accordingly', k... I sell WHMIS LOL, health and safety training, so where the heck did that come from? LOL. Then a couple calls later the same thing happened only this time, in my sleepiness I had written, "she will follow her heart" LOLOL. OMG I felt like I was going nuts. So I told the supervisor that I was going home. I tried explaining what was happening with being in and out of consciousness, but started laughing so hard she was laughing and tears were streaming down both our faces, then it felt like I was crying a bit. Wow, what a day! Weird eh? lol Little extreme if ya ask me. So I got home after a slow drive here, and called the SOFT clinic, which is where we did our IUI. I explained to the lady that I have had major fatigue, she asked if I was drinking lots of water and taking my prenatal vitamins, I said yes. We both started laughing after I went through the days work story. She referred me to our family doctor to get referred to a midwife or OB. So I got an appointment for Friday with a substitute doctor as ours is gone for 2 wks. I really wanna see if they can suggest anything for this fatigue. I slept for 2 hrs, and Dave was good about it, after we laughed of course. He even cooked dinner.
