Lots of stretching and pulling today! The belly is getting bigger and bigger. I went to mum's today and she touched my tummy and the looks on her face was cool, it's nice that other people can feel it now. At work the ladies took turns poking my belly LOL. It was a hoot. Just wait I guess until I get lots bigger, then I'll have strangers rubbing my tummy (which I'll have to freak out about LOL). Friends and family are good, but a friend of mine had her belly rubbed by a complete stranger. How would one reacte to that? I laugh now, but...
David's shift is going to 6 days a week in august which will be good for money, but man will he be tired!
It's amazing how you keep your mind so busy on trying to get to the next U/S or the next pregnancy bump... "okay I'll be good when this day gets here, ect", then all of a sudden you're almost half way there! It feels like ya kinda miss some of the pregnancy because you're to busy worrying about getting to the next stage. It's huge to think how fast the last 4 months really have come and gone, but going through it is such a pain staking process, with each little hump and worry. Each day so triumphant becuase you made it, each passing week a HUGE deal because the baby inside is continuing to grow.
What does it 'feel like' right now? It feels like my stomache is always full, like I have just eaten, kind of has a little bit of stiffness to it, but I am a lucky one because of my height, the baby has lots of room. I understand that shorter women by now have problems moving and everything... My turn will come in the next few weeks I'm sure hehe.
We're slowly collecting adresses for the baby shower. David is going to call his mum's side to see if they'd like to come and get their addresses, he knows them better. It's really too bad Nanette won't be here, but she will be in spirit, and with her family being there it'll make it feel like she's still with us. My friends are still planning the baby shower but I really want to be a part of ti as well, so I'll be buying the invites and table cloths and such, but their taking care of events and food. I'll be booking the common unit here in the next few days for october 4th.
I am on countdown at work for Mat leave, even though it's still 5 month away - seems so far right now... but I'm sure it'll go quickly. Oct 2nd is the last day hopefully.
Well I don't know what else to chitty chat about so I'm off for now.

Belly shot
This is a shot of my beginning mummy tummy. Don't mind the look on my face, I got dave to take another pic, but it wasn't a good one either. This was from last week, 16 weeks 2 days I believe. I'll probably start taking them weekly now as I am showing a bit more. I think I'll be more comfortable when my two belly's become one hehehe. But my mummy tummy is definatley there!

wow I need to blog more often!
Well, things are going well. One week from monday until we see the Wee One again. I can certainly feel a big difference in my abdomin, definately feels like there's something in there now! Starting to look like it to. I can't wait til I start showing more. Few more weeks, maybe longer as they said I have a tall abdomin and there's plenty of room in there. My siatic nerve has started to pinch now when I'm seeping, so I'll have to figure something out for that. More stretching would help I think. I have had a much bigger appetite, which is a nice change, but I need to keep on eating healthy extra's.
The nicer weather is finally here and I've started garden work, next weekend I'm hoping to get a border made of 2-by-4's. DH is going to build it. Then I can plant some nice new flowers. Hopefully the weather stays nice.
I'm gunna go for now, very tired, but I'll be back soon to update again. take care ladies!

Everything is going well here. I am feeling more pregnant, felt the baby move a couple times, such a little flutter, can't wait until s/he's bigger and I can feel it better and for longer. I have to find some mat pants, wish me luck! I'm already plus size so I don't think I'll have much luck there, but ya never know I might find something on a rack somewhere. :)
It'll be a busy weekend, we're going to take a drive along the lake through all the little beach towns, it should be fun... it's the first long weekend and they're really popular areas for ppl here. We're gunna pack a picnic and just drive along side the lake and stop at some stores along the way... and frequent bathroom breaks as I'm now peeing once an hour. lol
Well I'll catch up again soon, but probably not until after the long weekend. Take care everyone!

some things in life are rather painful...
Like being pregnant with an impacted tooth and the dentist won't even look at you! My head is killing me, not just my jaw, or my gums, or my teeth.... oh noooo it's the entire package, headaches neck-aches and ear-aches lol. They referred me to my family Dr. who I went to see yesterday. She's not a dentist.... she's a Dr LOL. She poked and prodded my mouth until I nearly jumped off of the exam table, when she laughed and said "I think we found it!" I couldn't help but laugh too, even though it hurt like an SOB. I have been given an antibiotic for any infection there may be, which I was afraid to take because I'm pregnant... I take it for 7 days and it should take care of any problems, and not harm the baby. I am taking tylenol for the pain, and trying to use anbesol to freeze my mouth when it's intense. I just wish I could sleep through an entire night. She booked a follow up apointment next week as she wanted to talk to a dental surgeon friend of hers... so we'll see.
On a happier note, I'm a few short days away from offically being in my second trimester!!! We did some work on the babies room on the weekend. We put up some wood boarder which we painted white to finish off the walls with stripes half way up. I'll post pictures. We also got the crib put together, we just need to purchase a new mattress for it which I've been pricing out online.
I finally get to have an appoitment with our midwife clinic. There's a story in itself! I called like 2 months ago to get put on the list, they said they would call back when they got to my due date. I hadn't heard from them, hadn't heard from them, so I called last week the same day we had our U/S. Well the lady wasn't very nice and said they don't call and let people know if they've been accepeted or not, and that they do repeat clients, then low income clients (Meninites, ect) then they add new patients; and this year they have over 300 births.... Well that's no good cause here I'm 3 months along with no prenatal care. So a friend of my had a midwife thru the same clinic for my God-Daughters birth so she made a call to her midwife, and magically enough I got a call from them, and they magically had an opening... taa-daaaaa! LOL. So I'm looking forward to friday morning and meeting them and asking a bunch of questions! I'll let ya's know how that goes.
I have lots more to say, but I'll save it for another day. Take care laides!

The Wee One, second U/S!
Well I have an updated pic of The Wee One! S/He was ' Kung Fu Fighting' while we had the U/S hehe. I got to see the little hands, that was awesome! I heard the HB, 154! 3 inches now! IPS U/S was clear so far from what I understand. We just wait for bw now. Then the second BW screening is May 18th. Next U/S June 7th, long ways off from now hehe, feels like it anyways hehe.
